A useful first conversation

Start a conversation.

Most of our engagements begin with a conversation about what is happening in an organization—not a proposal, not a pitch. If something you have read here resonates, we would like to hear about it.

01 / Your situation

Tell us a little about what is on your mind.

A few sentences are enough. We are interested in the situation, not whether you have already turned it into a formal brief.

We will respond within one business day.

Tell us what you are working on, what is not working, or what question prompted you to reach out. There is no wrong answer here—we are interested in the situation, not a fully formed brief.

02 / What happens next

What happens after you reach out.

We read every message carefully before we respond.

We are not running a volume business, and we are not going to send you a brochure or schedule you into a discovery call before we know anything about your situation.

One of us will respond directly with a few questions or a suggested time to talk. The first conversation is a genuine exchange: we want to understand what is happening in your organization, and you want to understand whether what we do is the right response to it.

If it is, we talk about what an engagement might look like. If it is not, we will tell you that too.

03 / Direct response

Your message reaches the founders.

Brent and Laura receive each inquiry.

Their individual addresses stay behind the form rather than being published in the page source. That limits automated email harvesting while preserving the direct, founder-led response.

04 / Not sure yet?

Take the time you need.

Most people who eventually work with us have been thinking about the problem for a while before they reach out. If you are still in that stage, the best place to start is our Insights section.
